The event will take place on Monday, August 19th from 4:30-7:30pm at the Phoenix Park Farmer’s Market.

This is an event focused on families with a child in the Eau Claire Area School District. We are targeting families of low-income and families that are in need.

Each child will receive a backpack with the school supplies that the ECASD recommends for their grade level. There will be other items for each child as well. Feed My People Food Bank will be there providing fresh food for families. Other community groups will be providing hygiene kits, books, resources and many other helpful items to prepare your families for the upcoming school year.

Starting at 4pm we will have Kevin the Balloon Guy and Face Painting available FREE of charge. A wonderful music group will be performing at the Labyrinth in Phoenix Park (CollECtive Choir) stop down and enjoy the music!

Local churches have partnered with the ECASD and local businesses to be able to offer this FREE event. The community of Eau Claire loves you and wants to make sure that our families feel supported! Make sure to check out our Who Are We page.

There is no need to RSVP for this event. Please come when you are able and wait in line for your school supplies and donations.

We are trusting that families will self-reflect and determine if this event is for them. We won’t need you to prove your income or enrollment status at the event. We are asking that your children come with you to the event. However, you can pick up for someone who can’t make it to the event.

Unfortunately, we aren’t allowing families to pick up school supplies early. Some families arrive to the event early and wait in a line for their supplies. This would be unfair for them.

All of the leftover supplies are brought to the ECASD Board Office and are given out to children in the district that need supplies throughout the year. If you can’t make it to the event, you can still receive these supplies by stopping into the ECASD Board Office.

We would love to have your group & organization present at our event. If you offer something that our families can benefit from you are welcome. You will need to prepare your own table and location.
